The header of these pages is my painting of Half Moon Bay, California. Only one so far. I wrote a Haiku to go with it.

Foghorn sounds afar
Lake Moulton in Minnesota. I found out about fifteen years ago that I had a sister out there in the world. In Minnesota, to be exact. On one of my first trips there, we went to see their Cabin – a log cabin built by hand. Autumn was the season and this is my first attempt at painting those oranges and reds.
Texas – Austin South of town.. Summertime – June. The bluebonnets finished blooming 2 – 3 months ago, but these golden beauties covered the fields in June.

My turn to say WOW! Prose, painting, music AND poetry too? Egad, what a lovely mix. By nature I write very lyrically, but have huge respect for poets in part because I am not one. Fiction and journalism, plus personal presentations, are enough for me.

If you are talking about Austin City Limits, I was there that day. Missed the action by about 5 minutes. I met someone at a writers conference a few years ago that was still on site when the bullets started.
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a superb job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very quick for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!

Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The header at thr top is a copy of a painting of mine. Makes the page personal. I like WordPress for ease of use, but Blogger will allow ads on the free site if you want to try to earn a little money.
Just wanted to say your blog is incredibly smart. I typically like to hear thereforeme thing new about this mainly as a result of I actually have the similar blog in my Country on this subject so this help´s me a lot.
