The Last of the Oatmeal Five years later, the loss of a step-father send a family into deeper turmoil in Depression Era Oklahoma.   3rd place Frontiers in Writing Conference – PPW Amarillo TX 2007. 1st place in 2014 San Mateo County Fair-Literary Arts Division and published in Carry The Light Vol 3 – 2014.

Walking Shoes Poverty has brought the whole family to a new low, but Suzy manages to find a way out. 1st place! place Frontiers in Writing Conference – PPW Amarillo TX 2007  Also published in South Bay Writers Anthology 2009. 1st place in 2014 San Mateo County Fair-Literary Arts Division and published in Carry The Light Vol 1 – 2012.
  • Deeper Colors Genevieve, a young artist in late 18th century France, dies early, but finally receives her due in 21st century New England.   (Same Title and basic story as the novel.) See Novels page.  Short story published in South Bay Writers Anthology 2009
  • The Art Lesson  A chapter from the novel Deeper Colors published s  stand-alone short story. 3rd place in 2013 San Mateo County Fair-Literary Arts Division and published in Carry The Light Vol 2 – 2013.
  • Night of the Silver Moon A young woman dreams of one of her Grandmother’s old Indian legends.  It was just a dream.  Or was it?    Winner  California Writers Club – South Bay Branch Writerstalk Challenge 2007. 2nd place in 2013 San Mateo County Fair-Literary Arts Division and published in Carry The Light Vol 2 – 2013.
  • Anno Forestem Silva After massive global warming warnings come true, a much shrunken island called England hosts a small group of survivors who return to the old ways of the forest to survive.   Honorable mention 24 hour contest, 2007.  HM in 2012 San Mateo County Fair-Literary Arts Division and published in Carry The Light Vol 1 – 2012.
  • Proof of Lineage A young woman discovers after her mother’s death, that she is next in line to a royal throne. Will she choose royalty or love with the commoner headed for the new world?
  • The Once and Future Queen A young queen throws caution to the winds to be with the one she loves and loses a kingdom.
  • For You, Franz An elderly woman retrieves an long lost purse and the memories contained inside.
